Rabbit Feet for Crafts - F5

$15.00

These rabbit front feet have had the bones removed and are fully tanned. May have extra skin, giving more for craft use. Sold in pairs. Have all toenails and leg skin. This pair is still connected by a strip of tanned skin, giving a bit extra that can help in some crafts.

Note: These have been split and bone removed, then fully tanned. The skin on a rabbit leg is very thin. Once the skin is dry, it may be too brittle to bend and may crack. The foot has had a small amount of polyfil inserted to show shape. Tanned skin can easily be rehydrated by wetting the whole foot, squeeze out the excess water, and allow to rehydrate. Placing in a plastic bag and give it about 10 - 20 minutes (Some my take a little longer) to soften. The skin will become soft and pliable. Shape, glue in a material for strength, sew it, anything you want. These feet will NOT loose hair and will last unlike dried tails with the bone still inside. If small bits of wood shavings come out of the foot area, do not be alarmed. My skins are tanned whole and tumbled in hardwood shavings in the final stage of tanning.
